IT'S BEEN QUITE A WHILE.

Two weeks had passed since we last had our Fashion Design class. I somewhat missed drawing. I have been pushing my limit to do my best in drawing. Haha. Yesterday's class was very interesting. Teacher Korinne lectured us about Fashion Canon (Croquis Foundation). It is a method of illustrating a proportional body figure using mathematical equation. How aboout using math in Fashion Design?! Haha. We draw from the head down to the feet but just the basic body, only a rough sketch of it..
Yeah, it looks like an alien. Hahaha!
I drew the legs of my model quite thin and Teacher Korinne told me that my model looks anemic! Haha. My drawing above is edited already. I should have taken a photo of it! She checked all our sketches before we did our real exercise. We designed 5 clothes (swimsuit, day, evening, corporate and sports) and drew more bodies.
Teacher Korinne checking Tita Carol's work while Angela is waiting for her turn.
Yna busy drawing. It's really mathematical that we have to use a ruler. Hihi.
After doing our exercises we passed by Shangrila because Kristel and Yna have to buy pattern papers. We also looked for Fashion Illustration books. After that we headed home. Below are pictures inside the MRT. Hahaha! I just wanted to share to you how crowded the MRT is everytime we ride it. Hassle, as in, but it is much more hassle every morning where we have to line up before reaching the top of the station. Maybe I'll take a photo of it soon. Haha. I am actually getting used to this scene because I have no choice but to deal with it. Excuse the blurry photos because of the moving train.
Yna, Kristel and me!
Mas wild pa every morning. Haha.
"Fashionista Commuters."
Yna treated me a yummy dinner before going home. We ate at Mashitta, a Korean and Japanese small restaurant located in UP Diliman. We had ramen, katusdon and oyakudon! Thank you Yna for being so sweet and generous. That's why I love you. Hihi.
Dinner!
Yna.
Me!
I had a long day but I enjoyed it. I finally found a part-time job and I am quite excited about it. I want to earn money for my shopping so that I would not have to burn my sewing materials allowance anymore! Haha.
My rainy day school outfit.
'Til next post! <3
